Post and vacancies: Name of the post is Clerical Cadre, total number of vacancies are around 1000 (one thousand). This recruitment project is purely on merit basis, therefore vacancies are not break up into category wise.
Important Dates: Online registration will begin on 21st August, 2012 (Tuesday) and will continue until the closing date 2nd September, 2012 (Sunday).

Eligibility for this post?

Essential: The first condition is that the applicant should be a qualifier of IBPS clerical cadre CWE 2011 – 2012. Valid score card also required which has been issued by IBPS. Minimum 24 (twenty four) marks or above required in each subject of the paper required.
Age: As on 1st Aug, 2012 applicant age should not be more than 28 (twenty eight) years old or applicant should not be born before 31st July, 1984.
Educational qualification: Graduation in any stream with 50% (fifty percentage) aggregate marks from any university recognised by University Grants Commission.
Other: Computer literate and knowledge to read, speak and write Hindi and English.

Selection procedure

According to the bank’s notification, IBPS Clerk CWE 2011 – 2012 top scorers shall be shortlisted for personal interview. Since the bank already has set a ratio of 1:04 – 4000 (Four thousand) applicant shall be called for the interview. Things to be note than Karnataka Bank not cleared number of vacancies in each state.
The final selection will be made through Bank’s officials. After selection 6th month probation period and after singing service bond applicant should be appointing for 3 years in the bank.

Application fee and online application process

Fee: Rs. 100 (Rupee one hundred only) for UR/GEN/OBC and Rs. 20 (Rupee twenty only) for SC/ST. Applicant need to pay application processing fee into Karnataka Bank’s account through National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT).
Applicant may also note that bank not issued any payment challan form for this. After deposit the fee don’t forgot to take receipt with transaction number, reference number, etc. You have to enter this information at the time of online registration.
