Eligibility
Age: Candidates who’s age is between 17 (seventeen) years to 21 (twenty one) years as on 1/1/2012 are eligible under age condition. Candidates who are applying under APST & SC/ST category are relaxed with +5 upper age limit, this means maximum age of reservation category candidates could be 26 (twenty six) years.
Educational Qualification: Minimum education of reserved category candidates required Class – VIII (equal to 8th) passed and for General cast Class –X (equal to 10th) passed from recognised board.
Physical Standards
Height of APST category: 160 centimeters (equal to 5 feet and 25 inches)
Height of General category: 165 centimeters (equal to 5 feet and 41 inches)
Height of Tirap/Changlang: 152 centimeters (equal to 4 feet and 99 inches)
Chest for all candidates: 79 centimeters normal (equal to 31.10 inches) and 84 centimeters expanded (equal to 33.07 inches).
Selection procedure
Selection for Arunachal Pradesh Police Recruitment 2012 project will be on the performance given in Physical efficiency test, written test and interview. A final merit list will be prepared on the basis of overall performance. Candidates with best performance will be select but appointment letter will be given to the candidates after medical examination, character & antecedent verification.

All interested candidates may obtain prescribed application form from SP Office/DC Office / Police stations of Arunachal Pradesh, SP (Recruitment) PHQ, etc. Fill the form with correct information and send with photocopies of all relevant certificate on or before 16/07/2012.
