recruitment 2012 is notified for Common Written Examination for

recruitment in Clerical Cadre in Public Sector Banks.

IBPS Clerk exam 2012 tentatively will be conducted in December, 2012 by

the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). IBPS 2nd CWE Clerk

exam 2012 is notified for IBPS Clerk 2 recruitment 2012 for the

replacement of first CWE Clerks held in November/December 2011. Validity

of first CWE scorecard will expire in February 2013. So, IBPS is to

conduct CWE Clerk exam 2012 in December.

Qualifying candidates through CWE Clerk-II to be conducted in the month

of December will be called for Common Interview to be co-ordinated by

IBPS. Qualifying candidates in CWE Clerk exam 2012 and Common Interview

will be listed in the order of merit list.

Listed candidates in merit list will receive computerized offer from one

of the Participating Public Sector Bank depending on he vacancies in

each bank.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has gotten approval of the

appropriate authorities to conduct IBPS 2nd CWE Clerk exam 2012 and

Common Interview.

There are total 20 public sectors participating Banks who agree to

conduct IBPS Clerk recruitment 2012. After the declaration of IBPS Clerk

2012 result of CWE and Common Interview, a notification will be issued

by IBPS giving the State/UT-wise and Category-wise vacancies in each Bank.

CWE Clerk Recruitment 2012 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be citizen of India as per the rules of Government of India.

Age Limit: age of applicants should be between 20 years and 28 years

as on 1st October, 2012 to apply for IBPS Clerk exam 2012.

Educational Qualification (as on 1st October, 2012):

Candidates should have a degree in any discipline from a recognized

University or equivalent to apply for CWE Clerk exam 2012.

Computer literacy and Official Language of the State/UT for which

vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable for IBPS Clerk 2

recruitment 2012.

IBPS 2nd CWE Clerk Exam 2012 Pattern (Online):

Reasoning – 40 – 40

English Language – 40 – 40

Numerical Ability – 40-40

General Awareness (Banking Industry Special) – 40 – 40

Computer Knowledge – 40 – 40

There will be total 200 MCQs for maximum 200 marks for the duration of 2

hours in IBPS Clerk recruitment 2012.

There will be penalty for the wrong answer. 0.25 marks will be deducted

for the each wrong answer.

Candidates have to obtain minimum cut off marks and Total Weighted

Standard Score to be called for the interview.

CWE Clerk Recruitment 2012 Fee:

Category – Total Fee

SC/ST/PWD/EXSM – Rs. 50

All Others – Rs. 400

Payment can be deposited in both mode – Online or Offline. Online

payment can be made by using Master/Visa Debit or Credit Cards while

filling Online Application Form. However, Offline payment can be

deposited downloading Challan Form.

IBPS Clerk exam 2012 date is yet to be confirmed. It may be either
