www.sbi.co.in Recruitment 2012 Details:

There are total 8500 vacancies for Assistants inclusive of 3100 previous vacancy in State Bank of India. There are total 1000 vacancies for Stenographers (900 for English and 100 for Hindi). So, total 9500 vacancies are advertised with the modified www.sbi.co.in recruitment 2012 notification under Clerical Cadre for the post of Assistant and Stenographer.

www.sbi.co.in Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have a degree of 12th Standard (10+2) or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD/XS) or a degree of Graduation from a recognized university to apply online for www.sbi.co.in Clerk recruitment.

Candidates should have ability to write and speak English fluently. Knowledge of local language will be an added qualification for the post Clerical recruitment in State Bank of India.

Age Limit:

Minimum age of applicants should be 18 years and maximum 28 years as on 1st December, 2011. Candidates must have been born between 30th November, 1983 and 1st December, 1993 to apply for State Bank of India Clerk recruitment 2012.

Offline Payment:

Candidates need to visit: www.sbi.co.in, www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.in to open the SBI Online Application Form. They have to fill the SBI Online Form 2012 in the appropriate format. On the successful submission of SBI Clerk Online Form 2012, candidates will get a system generated registration ID and Password. Edit option will be available 3 times only. Now, they have to take a system generated fee payment Challan immediately. Candidates make deposit SBI Clerk Application Fee from second working days and can be made within 3 working days at any branch of State Bank of India for www.sbi.co.in Clerk recruitment 2012. On the successful payment, candidates will receive a confirmation SMS/e-Mail after 2 working days.

Online Payment:

Candidates make payment using Master/Visa Debit/Credit cards or Internet Banking after SBI Clerk Online registration 2012. On the successful transaction, e-receipt and application form will be generated to take print out for the future reference.

Guidelines for Already Applied Candidates:

Those candidates, who already have applied for the earlier advertisement no CRPD/CR/2011-12/05 dated 27th December, 2012, needn’t to apply again for www.sbi.co.in Clerk recruitment but they can change the choice of exam centre, choice of pre-exam training centre, XS/PWD to mention their status.

www.sbi.co.in Recruitment Method:

Selection of a candidate will be made on the basis of written test and interview. Written Test will be based on the Objective Type of MCQs from the field of General Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Marketing Aptitude/Computer Knowledge for www.sbi.co.in recruitment 2012. Each wrong answer will be penalized by negative mark. Candidates have to secure minimum qualifying marks to get listed in interview sheet.

Qualified candidates in written test for Stenographer will be called for Skill Test. Candidates have to pass a dictation in just 10 minutes in English/Hindi at the speed of 100 W. P. M. They have to translate the given matter on Computer in 40 minutes in case of English Stenography and in 55 minutes in case of Hindi Stenography. Visually impaired candidates have to transcribe the matter in 70 minutes for English and in 95 minutes for Hindi Shorthand Test for www.sbi.co.in recruitment. Candidates should score minimum 50% marks to be qualified.

www.sbi.co.in Clerk Exam Date:

SBI Clerk exam date has been scheduled on 27th May and 3rd June, 2012 for the post of Assistant and Stenographer. State Bank of India may conduct the examination on more than two dates also, if needed.
