State Bank of India (SBI) invites online job applications from Indian citizens for the appointment to the post of Clerks in Clerical Cadre (for the special recruitment drive for SC/ST/OBC and regular recruitment for the posting at North Eastern Circle). There are total 2500 vacancies in State Bank of India for Clerical Cadre SC/ST/OBC (SC1150, ST750, OBC600). Details of SBI Clerk recruitment 2012 statewise and zonewise is made available through recruitment notification.
There are total 600 vacancies (65 for Special Recruitment) in State Bank of India for Clerk in North East Circle (General – 324, SC – 28 (15 Special SC/ST/OBC), ST – 153 (40 Special SC/ST/OBC), OBC – 95 (10 Special SC/ST/OBC); out of which DXS – 24, XS – 58, VI – 5, HI – 5 and OH – 8.
Candidates should have a degree of 12th Standard (10+2) or equivalent with a minimum of aggregate 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD/XS). But PWD (OBC) and XS (OBC) candidates should have minimum 60% marks in 12th or equivalent to apply for SBI Clerk Special Recruitment Drive 2012. Candidates with bachelor degree may also apply for SBI Clerk recruitment 2012.
Age Limit:
Minimum age should be 18 years and maximum 28 years as on 1st December, 2011 (born between 30th November, 1983 and 1st December, 1993) to apply for State Bank of India Clerk recruitment 2012. Relaxation in upper age limit will be provided as per the government rule.
