Intelligence Bureau (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India invites online applications for the direct recruitment to the post of Security Assistant (Executive), General Central Service (Group – C) Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial in the IB.

There are total numbers of 410 vacancies in IB under recruitment project 2011-2012 for the appointment for the post of Security Assistant (Executive).
Pay scale for the post of Security Assistant (Executive) in IB is Rs. 5200-20200/- and Grade pay Rs. 2000/- plus allowances at Central Government rates.
Maximum age should not be more than 27 years as on closing date of application. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC, Ex-Serviceman candidates will be given as per Government of India rules.
Candidates should have a degree of matriculation (Class X) or equivalent from a recognised board to apply for IB Security Assistant recruitment 2011.
Candidates should have knowledge of local language which is mentioned against the recruitment of region.
Procedure:
Candidates have to face written exam in the preliminary test for IB Security Assistant recruitment 2011. There will be objective types of questions from General Knowledge, Current awareness, aptitude, reasoning, general arithmetic and English of total 100 marks. Qualified candidates in written exam will be called for local language and personality test. Final selection will be made on the basis of performance of a candidate in the all test.
